We are not certified organic honey. But our honey has not added any artificial ingredient or any other ingredients. Its directly from the hives to your table.

Raw has its own definition explained by many. Our Honey is Raw in that nothing has been added throughout the processing of honey from extraction to the finished product in jar. It’s pasteurized honey with 100% compliance for human consumption.

After extraction – samples are sent to independent laboratory Analytica to measure natural markers found in Manuka Honey and this assures quality, purity and authenticity. 

One of the major antibacterial components of Manuka Honey is a compound called methylglyoxal (MGO). MGO comes from the conversion of another compound in Manuka Honey known as dihydroxyacetone (DHA), a high concentration of which is found in the nectar of Manuka flowers.

  • Should be produced in New Zealand
  • It’s processed packed & produced in New Zealand
  • Details of manufacturing plant mentioned on the label
  • A rating number alongside the UMFᵀᴹ is genuine – any rating without this abbreviation is not genuine.
  • An official UMFᵀᴹ release document requested by the producer which should match the batch no. shown on the label & it should have all four manuka markers. (Leptospira + Methylglyoxal + DHA + HMF)

No. It is not safe for infants under 18 months old to ingest Manuka Honey. It contains live enzymes & bacteria which can grow in baby’s gut and cause side effects.

If the honey becomes gritty and sugar-like, don’t worry! It is perfectly fine to consume and does not mean that it’s poor quality or has been adulterated or expired. Honey can naturally crystalise, particularly when the weather turns cooler. Simply place it in warm room temperature it will be creamed back again

Manuka Honey can be stored in ambient temperature for 5 years.

When the honey comes directly from the hive it is liquid. Over the time period, the honey will start to granulate. We control the granulation by a creaming process and once its creamed it changes from liquid to a soft cream texture and will never revert back.
